Designing a responsive, user-centered website for a Women’s advocacy organisation working to amplify women's voices and promote gender equality in Nigeria.
Context
Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) is a nonprofit organisation committed to amplifying women’s voices in Nigeria’s political and public life. Their work spans advocacy, research, policy influence, and building coalitions that drive real change for gender equality.
While their mission is powerful, their digital presence didn’t reflect that strength. The existing website was outdated, hard to navigate, and not optimised for mobile — making it difficult for users to learn about their work or take meaningful action.
Strong branding can create a sense of community among users, where they identify with the product and share their experiences, further strengthening the brand’s presence.
I was brought in to lead the UX and UI redesign, creating a responsive, accessible website that truly reflects their mission, empowers their audience, and communicates their impact clearly across devices.

The Process
Solution
The new website is bold, accessible, and mobile-friendly helping NWTF better communicate its mission, share resources, and encourage support. Users can now find key information quickly, whether they’re seeking research, looking to get involved, or learning about women in leadership. This project reinforced my belief that clear, inclusive design has the power to elevate powerful work. From user research to responsive layouts, every design decision was made with both the user and the mission in mind.
